Elden Ring Tarnished Edition Brings the Lands Between to Nintendo Switch 2 This August
Nintendo fans will soon get the chance to experience one of the most celebrated games of recent years, with ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition arriving on Nintendo Switch 2 on 28 August 2026.
Developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco, ELDEN RING takes players on an unforgettable journey through the Lands Between, a sprawling dark fantasy world filled with powerful enemies, hidden secrets, and challenges around every corner.
Having originally played the game on Xbox Series X when it launched, it’s exciting to see Nintendo players finally getting the opportunity to experience this adventure on a Nintendo platform. Few games have captured the gaming conversation quite like ELDEN RING, and its arrival on Switch 2 is another major addition to the console’s growing library.
The Tarnished Edition includes the massive Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, bringing an entirely new adventure that expands on the original story. Nintendo Switch 2 players will also gain access to additional content, including two new starting classes.
