Farm Great Loot in Just 30 Seconds in Splatoon Raiders
Splatoon Raiders is making a splash on Switch 2, and it turns out the addictive looter-shooter formula is already proving to be a hit with fans. There’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing an Epic, Legendary, or Mythic item drop, especially when it comes with amazing stats and abilities that can take your game to the next level. But what if I told you there’s a 30-second loop that can net you Epic items, Legendary upgrades, plenty of materials, and even the occasional Mythic? Well, that’s exactly what we’re going to be diving into in this guide. So, if you’re looking to level up your loot game, let’s dive right in!
Preparation
Surprisingly, this method doesn’t require a lot of specialised gear. All you need is the Speed Tank equipped with the Flywire Gadget. I do recommend equipping the Jump Bomb and Double Jump Relic if you have them, but neither is essential. Both simply give you a little more room for error if you miss the timing during the run. You can also equip a Flywire Length Upgrade for a little extra reassurance. Again, it isn’t necessary, but the additional range can help if you make a mistake.
Execution
Ok, for this little loot heist, head to the right side of your Treasure Map and make your way to Oftu Island. From there, select Awlmun Den. Once you’re inside, I like to splat a little ink before swimming straight ahead towards the first tower. As soon as you pass the first patch of yellow paint, summon your Splat Buddy Bot with X. You want to place it roughly halfway down the railing. Now quickly loop back towards your Bot, perform a Bot Hop, and aim to go almost straight upwards with only a slight amount of forward movement. Don’t get too close to the tower, as this will make the next part much trickier.
As you reach the height of your jump, activate the Flywire Gadget and aim for the very edge where the side of the tower meets the top. I found that aiming towards the head of the Awlmun helped me keep the Flywire on target. Once you reach the top, immediately blast the Ink Balloon Flower. Then turn towards the sewer grate and take out the final Awlmun. Now, collect those eggs as quickly as possible. Your Splat Buddy will start drilling for treasure, and before you know it, you’ll have your loot.
A few tips
The Flywire timing can take a little getting used to, so don’t worry if you miss it at first. Spam the Flywire button until it latches on… You may need a few attempts to get a feel for the timing. If you miss the jump, use your Jump Bomb for some extra airtime. If you’re still falling short and have the Double Jump Relic equipped, use that as a backup. Thankfully, failing doesn’t mean you have to start the whole level again. If you die, you’ll respawn right next to your Splat Buddy. Simply Bot Hop and try again. Once you’ve nailed the timing, though, this whole process becomes incredibly quick. With a little practice, you can be in, out, and collecting your rewards in around 30 seconds.
Results
So, does this 30-second loot loop actually pay off? I spent around 30 minutes running it repeatedly while putting this guide together, and I was pretty blown away by what I managed to collect. Across those runs, I picked up two Mythic weapons, several Mythic Gadget upgrades, a stack of Legendary weapons, and even more Epic weapons. I also collected so much crafting material that I honestly don’t think I’ll be running out anytime soon. The Spirhalite gains are also quite impressive… I was averaging around 550 Spirhalite per run, with the occasional 10,000 Spirhalite appearing as a treasure reward. All that extra currency was enough to upgrade my weapon by around 20 levels during my testing.
