Square Enix invites players back to the realm of Orsterra with the launch of Octopath Traveler 0, a new adventure built on restoration, retribution and the power of choice. This entry marks a first for the series, giving players the ability to create their own protagonist and rebuild their hometown after its destruction through the new Town Build feature.
Set before the events of Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent, the game expands on that story with newly added narrative content. Players will restore their town as reimagined story beats unfold, all brought to life with the series’ acclaimed HD-2D art style. Returning features include the ability to interact with characters through Path Actions, along with the Break and Boost battle system that rewards strategy and timing.
A demo for Octopath Traveler 0 is available now on all platforms. Players can create a custom protagonist and experience up to three hours of gameplay, including the Prologue and Chapter 1 of the Master of Wealth, Master of Power and Master of Fame story arcs. The demo also offers Chapter 1 of the Kindlers of the Flame arc, showcasing the new Town Build system as players begin restoring the village of Wishvale. Save data from the demo will transfer to the full game.
A Save Data Bonus Campaign is also available. Players who have save data or play data from relevant demos of Octopath Traveler, Octopath Traveler II, Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake or Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake (or purchase history on supported accounts) can redeem bonus items in Octopath Traveler 0.
