Forsaken 64 is blasting its way onto the Nintendo 64 Mature app on September 4, available for all Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members.
Originally released in 1998, Forsaken 64 is a fast-paced, futuristic shooter that drops players into twisting 3D environments filled with enemies, traps, and secrets. Often compared to Descent, the game gives you full six-degrees-of-freedom movement, meaning you can fly, strafe, and spin in any direction as you battle your way through sprawling underground levels.
Each stage is packed with hazards, turrets, and rival raiders, pushing you to master precision movement while swapping between an arsenal of weapons. On top of the single-player campaign, Forsaken 64 also included multiplayer deathmatch, a feature that became a favourite on the original N64.
For anyone looking to revisit a cult-classic slice of 90s sci-fi action, or discover it for the first time, Forsaken 64 is a welcome addition to the NSO lineup.
