During today’s The Mix: Indie Fan Fest showcase, Acclaim announced that GRIDbeat! is coming to Nintendo Switch and Steam digitally on March 26, 2026.
To mark the announcement, Acclaim released a new deep dive gameplay trailer narrated by Jaime Bencia, Senior Producer at Ridiculous Games. The video offers an in-depth look at the systems and mechanics behind GRIDbeat!, highlighting its rhythm-based dungeon crawling. Players must sync every action to the beat of an electric soundtrack while exploring a neon-saturated virtual labyrinth and avoiding the system’s deadly defenses.

In GRIDbeat!, players take on the role of a hacker who has breached Knoss.OS, the planet’s most heavily fortified corporate network, escaping with priceless data. Trapped within the digital labyrinth of the Mainframe, every keystroke becomes part of a rhythmic fight for survival. Players must outmaneuver security protocols, battle military simulations, and fend off corrupting viral code, all designed with one directive: to delete the intruder.
