Welcome to Paris, 47. If this is your first time on a job since basic training, this guide aims to show you just one of the countless ways you can approach the Paris Mission “The Showstopper” in Hitman World of Assassination on Nintendo Switch 2. Now, we got a job to do and these targets wont eliminate themselves, so let’s gear up and prepare to visit Paris. Bon Voyage 47.
Preperation
Before stepping out, we need to make sure we have the right gear. Under the planning tab, before you deploy, ensure you have your fibre wire and Red Mushroom for poison. For agents on other consoles, standard poison will do fine. You can bring a firearm should you wish, but by following this guide, you won’t really need it unless things go awry.
VIktor Novikov
Our targets are Viktor Novikov and Dalia Margolis. As you walk down the red carpet and into the mansion, Viktor will make an appearance by walking down the stairs and greeting guests. I shouldn’t have to tell you that this won’t be the best time to take him out. Instead, follow the red carpet to the right and walk through both sets of doors and turn right to enter the bar area. Head out to the patio for some fresh air and turn left. Don’t worry about security as you are doing nothing wrong… yet. Follow the path and you will see a set of stairs on the side of the building. This will be where we get our first lead on Viktor. Listen carefully to the servers talking about Viktor’s favourite drink, and once the servers split up, walk down the stairs, enter the door once both servers are out of sight and start sneaking by pressing R3. Subdue the server in the cellar and steal his uniform, hiding his unconscious body in the crate next to the bench in the middle of the room. A good Hitman only kills his targets. Now you can walk freely around the cellar. Walk through the big double doors, turning right, then left at the end of the hall. You will see a recipe for a cocktail called a “Bareknuckle Boxer” resting on a bench next to some produce, examine it, and head back the way you came, all the way back up to the bar.
A few things to be cautious about here: Supervisors will be able to identify that you aren’t a part of their team and are represented by white dots on your radar. Avoid them as best as you can. Head behind the bar and you will see a glass that will prompt you to make a “Bareknuckle Boxer.” Mix the drink, then interact with the glass, selecting your red mushroom poison to spike the drink. Depending on where Viktor is, you may have to wait a while. There’s no need to wait behind the bar as you may get caught by a supervisor, so exit to the right of the bar, turn right again, and head into the bathroom and wait in the closet. You can use your Hitman focus to see where Viktor is, and eventually, he will go to the bar and drink the cocktail you mixed. This will cause him to rush into the bathroom and use the toilet. Once he’s riding the porcelain bus, exit the closet and drown him in the toilet. Hide his body in the closet and walk out. Target one down.
Dalia Margolis
It’s time to turn our attention to Dalia who is on the third floor, but we won’t be able to get there yet. Instead, exit the bathroom and turn left, heading right back to the entrance of the mansion where this all began. This time, we want to follow the red carpet to the left, go through both sets of doors, then turn left to see two workers getting excited about the featured model, Helmut. This prompts the second mission story branch, as we will strike a pose and vogue in order to eliminate Dalia. Walk to the very back of the mansion, where Helmut is mid-photoshoot in front of a helicopter. I highly recommend saving the game here as its incredibly easy to both mess up the mission, or be discovered here if we aren’t careful. As you approach the photographer, Helmuts phone will ring, and he will walk away to take the call. I recommend tailing him at 30+ meters at all times, otherwise he wont make the call, and your mission is over. Head to the middle path and hide behind the hedge, keeping an eye out for security personnel. Once Helmut makes the call, you are free to engage. Head to the furthest path along the hedge on the helicopter side. Wait for the guard to turn and make your move. Subdue Helmut, but don’t kill him. You won’t have time to hide his body, so quickly drag him around the waist-high barrier closer to the river and take his disguise. You can stand right next to him and wait to see if the guard discovers him so you can intercept and neutralise, but if the guard doesn’t see anything, we are good to go. Pick up and use Helmuts’ phone to call Dahlia, she will tell you that you have to do your modelling job first, then to meet her on the third floor.
Vogue
Head back into the mansion and, staying on the bottom floor, head to the right side and make your way to the models’ staging area. There’s a chair there where a make-up artist will get you ready for the show. Once you are finished, head to the back of the stage and feel free to push in front of the other models because you’re the star of the show. Start walking down the catwalk and contemplate if there’s more to life than being really, really, really, ridiculously good looking, throw out your best blue steel, and head off the runaway. Now, our mission can continue. Head to the back of the mansion and back up the stairs, where the guards will let you through. Continue on and head up the next set of stairs, and use your hitman focus to see which room Dahlia is in. Head to that room, and the guards will leave. Take a seat on the couch, and Dahlia will spill the beans on some intel. Once she dismisses you, pick up the poison off the table, and she will walk to a window. Now’s the best time to strike! Equip your fibre wire and take her out, drag her to the closet and hide her body in there.
Exfiltration
Your mission is now complete, but we still have to get out of here unnoticed. Simply head back the way you came down the stairs, out to the backyard where the helicopter is, and board it. Well done 47… We will be watching your career with great interest.
