How to Complete the ‘Time to Party’ Quest in Rocky Ridge
Looking to complete the Time to Party Important Request in Pokopia’s Rocky Ridges? So far, we’ve watered Wastelands and brightened Beaches, and now it’s time to improve the Rocky Ridges, a desolate alpine area in desperate need of a party… apparently. This guide will help you plan the party and increase the vibe level in order to complete the Rocky Ridges Important Request “Time to Party!” Now, you’re in a hurry, and I have a party to attend, so no need for a long-winded intro. Let’s dive right in!
Now, this guide assumes you’ve already made your start in Rocky Ridges and welcomed a few Pokémon to the region, as well as worked towards completing your Pokémon Centre. To start the quest, talk to the Scorbunny, who will ask you to investigate a noise coming from behind a rock wall. You won’t be able to smash the wall right away. Instead, make yourself a burger in the pan to boost your Rock Smash and break through.
Head into the cave, and behind a wall of gemstone rock will be a Rotom in CD player form. Talk to it and tell it about how the humans are gone, and Rotom will decide to join the outside world.Before you leave the cave, explore a bit deeper to find the Nerdy outfit before heading back outside. Turn in the quest with Scorbunny, who is grateful you checked out the noise, and then go look for Rotom. It should be up the stairs in an area covered in volcanic ash. Talk to “DJ” Rotom, who wants to throw a party. Now we need to complete some requests.
Chef Dente will have the first request. He will give you a Party Cooking Pot. Clear the ash out of the area and place the party cooking pot in the dirt area. The chef is still stuck on a recipe, so it’s time to change the vibes. This initiates a quest similar to the Yawn and Brightness quests in the other areas. We need to get the vibe levels up! Both Professor Tangrowth and Rotom will have requests.
Tangrowth will ask you to get relics appraised and display them in the party area. You should have a lot by now, so grab as many as you can, get them appraised, and put them on display! Mine was a Castform charm, which I stuck on the wall behind him. When you do so, it will initiate dialogue and complete that request.
DJ Rotom will ask you to find CDs. These can be found hidden around the world, and no doubt you already have some from your travels. Round some of them up and hand them to DJ Rotom. You don’t need to fill all five slots. I only put in two and it completed the quest.
Rotom and Chef Dente will now have requests. Rotom will ask you to find a Pokémon to up the vibe, and give you an Uplifting Duckweed Habitat recipe to attract a Ludicolo. Eat a salad to power up your Leafage, and bring up four Duckweed in a water source next to some land. Wait for Ludicolo to appear! While you wait, I recommend harvesting as many veggies as you can for the next request.
Chef’s request will be to help with the food since Machoke has quite the appetite, and you will learn a Party Platter recipe. We need to make five of them with food for the party! You will need five ingots, which can be made by smelting iron ore harvested from the rocks in a smelter. Get Scorbunny to help! Create your five platters, make five food items, and head back to the party area. Place the platters on some tables in the party area, then select the food to place on them. Then talk to the chef to turn in the quest.
Rotom will now tell you it’s almost time to get the party started. Finish decorating the area. You can buy microphones and balloons from the Pokémon Centre PC if your habitat is level 4, as well as a Party Bunting recipe. Each set of balloons should add 2 to your vibe score, as well as the bunting, so spam them around the area. If you have stages and spotlights, put them down too! Eventually, you will reach the vibe level of 100, and Rotom will have a speech bubble that says “Vibin.” Talk to Rotom to complete that request and prepare to party. We just need Chef to be inspired.
Talk to Chef Dente and he will ask you to make a curry. We need 15 Leppa Berries, 15 Wheat, 15 Beans, and 5 Honey, as well as a host of Pokémon to help cook. If you don’t have the ingredients on hand, remember to revisit the other areas where these ingredients grow. Drop in your ingredients and assign your Pokémon to cook. It will take about eight minutes to complete! Talk to Chef Dente when it’s finished, and then talk to Professor Tangrowth.
