How to Get Glass and Gold in Pokémon Pokopia

How to Make Glass in Pokémon Pokopia
Glass is actually very simple to make. You can smelt any form of sand in a smelting furnace. If you have been cleaning up the Rocky Ridges area, volcanic ash works as well.
Simply place sand or volcanic ash into the smelting furnace, grab a friendly Fire Pokémon, and set them to work. The process takes a little time, so while the furnace is running it is a good opportunity to go hunting for Gold.
Where to Find Gold in Pokémon Pokopia
Gold is easy to miss in Pokopia because it is quite rare. The easiest place to find it is in Rocky Ridges, near the cave system where you first meet Rotom.
Head back into that cave and continue further down the cave system. You should start seeing ore blocks with small gold flecks in them. These are Gold Ore deposits.
If you have the ability to glide, follow the lava falls down to the lower levels of the cave. There are even more ore nodes waiting there. In my run, I was able to collect around 20 pieces of Gold Ore in just a few minutes.
Once you have collected the ore, return to a smelting furnace and process it into Gold Bars. Just like with Glass, you will need a friendly Fire Pokémon to power the furnace.
What Glass and Gold Are Used For in Pokémon Pokopia
Glass and Gold are mainly used for reconstruction projects and advanced crafting later in the game. If you are rebuilding areas or completing requests in the late game, you will likely need a steady supply of both materials.
