How to Rebuild the Huge Building in Pokémon Pokopia
We’ve finally raised our trainer rank enough to reach the Sparkling Skylands, and it is in a pretty sorry state. Thankfully, we have an army of Pokémon ready to help, and our main goal here is to rebuild the Huge Building as part of the area’s Important Request. Now, you are in a hurry, and I have construction permits to file, so there is no need for a long-winded intro. Let’s get to work!
Now this guide assumes you already have the Important Request and have rebuilt your Pokémon Centre. If you have not done that yet, keep completing requests until you meet the Tinkmaster. Tinkmaster will ask for an iron bar so she can make tinkgears, which unlocks the recipe for the lifts. Once you have done that, talk to Tinkmaster and escort her to the Pokémon Centre. Conkeldurr will also need to teach you about concrete. I recommend putting 99 limestone into production straight away because we are going to need a lot of concrete.
Tinkmaster will meet Professor Tangrowth at the Pokémon Centre, and the two of them will discuss rebuilding the tall building. Tinkmaster will then lead the way toward a broken bridge. Repair the bridge, build some stairs, and create a serviceable path up to the building. Once you arrive, Tinkmaster will want to explore the second level. Head to the back of the building and take the stairs up. Talk to Tink while you are there, then repeat the process for the third and fourth floors. When you are done, head back to the bottom. I took the express way down… Wait for Tink to arrive, then talk with Tink and Tangrowth.
This officially starts the Important Request “Rebuild the Huge Building!”
The first phase requires 25 Concrete, 10 plates of Glass, 5 Pokemetal, and 10 Iron Bars. Now it is time to gather materials and Pokémon and start building. You might want to check out our glass and gold guide and our Pokémetal guide so you can stock up on the materials you will need.
The first stage takes about an hour and a half to build. Once it is finished, talk to Tinkmaster again, and you can start work on the second floor. Before that, though, we need Chef Dente. Head to Rocky Ridges to get him, then return to the Huge Building and walk over to the building box to trigger the cutscene.
For the second floor, you will need 25 concrete, 10 plates of glass , 10 glowing stones, and 15 copper ingots. The 10 Glowing Stones can be found in the same cave that you found Rotom in while in Rocky Ridges. Assign Chef Dente to the building, gather your materials and Pokémon, and away we go.
Once construction is finished, talk to Tink again. The final floor is coming up!
For this stage, you will want Peakychu over at Bleak Beach as a special consultant, and a Metang to help recycle paper. You will also need to gather the habitat items for Metang to place near the building. The laptop can be found on the reception desk on the first floor. The whiteboard and cables are on the second floor, or you can find a whiteboard and cables just to the right of the building. You can use any desk to place the laptop on. After that, collect five wastepapers scattered around outside the building. Bring them to Metang, who will turn them into paper.
For the final floor, you will need 40 concrete, 15 plates of glass, 10 paper, 10 bricks, and 20 lumber. You will also need to assign a few more Pokémon to the build. Bring Peakychu to the building if you haven’t already, to trigger the next cutscenes and start the final construction.
This last stage also takes about an hour and a half. Once it finishes, the quest is finally complete.
