MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, the D.I.C.E. Awards-nominated arcade-style tag-team beat ’em up inspired by the golden eras of classic Marvel storytelling and entertainment, is set to receive two paid DLC updates in 2026 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. Publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games shared a new trailer today, revealing what’s next for the co-operative brawler, while also confirming that more than 1.5 million players have joined the fight against Annihilus since launch.

Tribute Games is expanding MARVEL Cosmic Invasion’s galaxy-spanning battle with two premium DLC updates arriving this year:

DLC 1 – Cyclops & The Thing – Available Today On All Platforms

The Thing: The Fantastic Four’s powerhouse brings his cosmic radiation-fuelled strength to the fight as a grappling-focused brawler. Despite his size, The Thing has surprising mobility, allowing him to bounce through environments and close the gap on enemies quickly. The former pilot steps into battle as a durable protector capable of supporting any team.
Cyclops: One of the most requested additions from fans, the X-Men leader joins the roster armed with his signature kinetic optic blasts. Cyclops can fire diagonally, giving players more ways to handle airborne enemies and control the battlefield.

DLC 2 – Launching Spring 2026

A brand-new game mode featuring fresh challenges for MARVEL Cosmic Invasion’s heroes and villains will be revealed later this year. Additional playable characters joining the battle against Annihilus will also be announced at a later date.
