Tales of Berseria Remastered Brings Velvet’s Vengeance to Nintendo Switch
Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has announced the launch of Tales of Berseria Remastered, bringing the fan-favourite action JRPG to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch. With this release, Tales fans continue to be spoiled as Bandai Namco brings another beloved entry in the long-running series to Nintendo Switch. The remaster allows players to revisit the adventure with modern platform support and a range of quality-of-life improvements.
Originally released in 2017, Tales of Berseria introduced players to Velvet Crowe, a woman forever changed by the tragic loss of her youngest brother. Driven by vengeance against those responsible, Velvet is torn between who she once was and the rage that now fuels her journey. As her quest unfolds, she must confront whether she can preserve her humanity or be consumed entirely by revenge.
Players can dive into an exhilarating battle system that encourages deep customisation, enabling unique playstyles and powerful chains of attacks. By stealing souls from enemies to strengthen combos, combat remains fast-paced and dynamic, capturing the spirit of this unforgettable adventure.
This remastered edition introduces new quality of life features, including destination icons, encounter toggling, and early grade shop access. It also includes downloadable content from the original release, such as character costumes, bonus items, and other fan-favourite extras.
