Two Point Museum Rides & Relics DLC Announced for Nintendo Switch 2
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from playing Two Point Museum, it’s that sitting down for what I think will be a quick session can very quickly turn into losing several hours without even realising it, and as one of my favourite games, I’ve loved seeing how each DLC adds new mechanics and reasons to dive back into the museum. I recently checked out the Arty Facts DLC and thought it was outstanding, so when Two Point Studios and SEGA Europe announced the next expansion, Rides & Relics, I was instantly interested, especially because I’ve secretly been hoping for a Two Point theme park game for quite some time.
Coming to all platforms on the 8th of October 2026, and shortly after on the Switch 2, Rides & Relics will bring the funfair to Two Point Museum, giving curators the chance to reopen the gates of the once-legendary amusement park at Riquetti Gardens, which has spent years sitting dark, rusty and completely guest-less. The new expansion will let players take on the role of Funfair Expert as they turn Riquetti Gardens back into a destination worth visiting, with the biggest addition being the ability to build your own mini-coasters with custom height, tilt and camber, while also making sure your corkscrew doesn’t send your guests, or any fragile museum artefacts, into disaster.
There will be five different Coaster Themes to work with, while museum assistants can also get into the spirit of the new attraction by dressing up as Mascots, entertaining guests as they wait for rides and explore the park. Rides & Relics will also introduce a new expedition map based around the abandoned Gearbox Fairgrounds, where experts can uncover new blueprints and perks to help expand the museum, while 15+ new Funfair Exhibits, including Antique Amusements, will give curators even more ways to bring the history of the funfair into their museums. The expansion will also feature a brand new museum location at Riquetti Gardens, a new five-star campaign, new Gift Shop items, themed decorations and utility items including a Helipad, Ticket Desk, benches and bins, giving players plenty of new tools to work with as they turn the abandoned park into something worth visiting again.
For me, the idea of bringing the Two Point formula into a funfair is particularly exciting because I’ve been quietly hoping that Two Point would tackle a theme park of its own, and while Rides & Relics isn’t a standalone Two Point theme park game, it certainly looks like it could scratch that particular itch while still building on what makes Two Point Museum so enjoyable in the first place.
Two Point Hospital gets a physical release on Switch 2
Alongside the Rides & Relics announcement, Two Point Studios and SEGA Europe have also revealed that Two Point Hospital: Full Health Collection will be launching physically on Nintendo Switch 2 on the 6th of November 2026. Having previously played Two Point Hospital on the original Nintendo Switch, it’s great to see the game making its way to Nintendo’s new hardware in a physical collection, particularly at a time when the industry continues to shift towards a digital future. The Full Health Collection brings together Two Point Hospital and all of its DLC and Free-LC released since the game originally launched eight years ago, including three DLC expansions that have previously been unavailable on consoles. With both releases bringing more of the Two Point universe to Nintendo Switch 2, there’s plenty for fans of the series to look forward to, whether you’re looking to expand your museum with a little funfair chaos in October or pick up the complete Two Point Hospital experience physically in November.
